Overmas doesn't want to work as statutory director at Ajax at present. He only wants to be as a non committal function to 'do something' for Ajax and firstly finish his project of Go Ahead Eagles.
Now Tscheu La Ling is the most important candidate of this post. Btw, Ling has Chinese lineage. <img src='smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' />

Liverpool is now on tour in China?
It's the same La ling, as in Trencin? Or its another person?

Yes. It's the same Ling. Ling's Dutch name has several forms: Tschen La Ling, Tshen La Ling, Tjeu La Ling and Tscheu-La Ling...
According to the FIFA rules, there may be some troubles as Ling wants to become the new statutory director... Because he owns the club AS Tren?ín.

I've read that La Ling wants to give up his share in AS Trencín. He is the favorite of Johan Cruijff, so I think he has the best papers to become the new statutory director.

Ling is no langer the main candidate. Ajax leading doesn't want him. And Cruijff accepted(!) this...
