Keep it in the right zone, Richie.
On-topic....i hope so. I am fed up with this a-hole. So the big money clubs may take him away....The sooner the better.

Vd Wiel hasn't played his best football this season but I'm sure the World Cup is to blame for that. Next season after a long summer vacation Vd Wiel will prove once again that he is one of the most talented backs in the world. I strongly believe that Ajax should not let him go for anything less than 20 million euro.
If Frank de Boer is smart he'll let Ligeon train and now and then also play with the first squad from the beginning of next season so he can adjust himself to the higher level. If then Vd Wiel is sold Ajax has a capable replacement ready.

This is old news really, ever since the Bayern Munchen deal fell through Manchester (City and United) and chelsea have all been after him.
The good news for Ajax is that they could get some good money for him (£15+ million), and they have a great young talent to bring through in Ricardo Van Rijn (hope ive spelt his name right, but he is a real talent!).

I agree with you that Ricardo van Rhijn is a great prospect but I see in him more a central defender and think that Ligeon is more talented as back.

Really? I think he could do very well at both places, but when i watched him in the last youth international tournament he looked like a better faster version of Van Der Wiel.
Ligeon could really be the deciding factor, if they think he is a better prospect at RB than Van Rhijn then it could force ricardo to play in the center.

I believe Van Rhijn is more talented than Vd Wiel and I hope that he is included in the first-team squad as back-up for Alderweireld and Vd Wiel. Or otherwise that he is loaned out to another Eredivisie club so that he can gain some experience in playing at a high level.

As if Ajax wil let him go for anything under 15 million pound, Ajax should just keep him for another season and then sell him for around that price next year.

Im not quite sure if you understand, but the article talks about a 12 million pound deal (roughly), which would be 15 million euros, probably with incentives to go up to 17 million euros.
As an example, Ajax only sold Suarez for 23 million pound, which roughly converted works out at 26.5 million euros.
I personally think the article is right in the fact that i believe VDW will go in the summer for around 15 million EUROS (basically around 12 million pounds).
Hope i helped

Yeah but I wouldn't let Vd Wiel go for less that 15 million pound, not euro.

Well maybe so, but since Ajax deal in euros, i think he will be sold for 15 million euros in the summer.
If Ajax were to ask for 15 million pound then the euro pricetag they would have on VDW would be 16.9 million, which is a bit random...
