Sutton United 2 Lowestoft Town 1
Sutton were the better side in the first half and went u=in at half time 1-0 through a penalty. They went two up in the second half . We pulled one back and then had a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside. There player passed the ball back and they also had a player standing by the post !!! We will get a break sooner or later !!!

tool the lead after 5 mins but got pegged back before half time.
Still a point against a team above us maybe our luck is changing !!!!

Only Chairman of the Supporters Club !!!!
Reference the tickets each game we get somebody to sponsor the printing of the tickets for £20 and whoever pays for it gets their name or whatever they wanted printing on it, So for me the choice was easy

Last Night the supporters club staged an event night, where we had a talk on the history of Lowestoft Town and the a Question and Answers session with the two First Team managers.
Look what one of the Lowestoft Fans was wearing, !!!
The Trophy is the Rymans League Division One Champions which we won last season

After Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Kingstonian, Lowestoft Town got back to winning ways with an 8-1 thumping of Hendon at Crown Meadow. Lowestoft took an early lead in the 5th minute through Michael Frew, after good work by Scott Mitchell. Matt Nolan then extended the home side's lead in the 16th minute, after again, being set up by Mitchell.
Hendon had their own chances and could have pulled it back to 2-1, but further goals by Joe Francis and Matt Nolan made it 4-0 at half-time, and Nolan even had a chance to grab a first-half hat-trick, but his header rebounded off the post. Man-of-the-match Mitchell got on the score sheet within the 1st minute of the second-half to make it 5-0.
Hendon then pulled a goal back in the 53rd minute through Belel Aite-Ouakrim, but Lowestoft continued scoring with further goals from Russell Stock, Burgess, (own goal), and Jamie Godbold finished the scoring with 10 minutes left.
This sees Lowestoft move into 4th place and a mouth-watering all-Suffolk tie against Bury Town at Ram Meadow, who currently sit in 2nd spot, on Tuesday night. Bury's game against Harrow Borough last Saturday was called off because of a water-logged pitch.
This season's Ryman Premier League results are so hard to predict as on Wednesday, Hendon beat current league leaders Sutton United at home 1-0.
The Lowestoft squad haven't been short on confidence over the last few weeks, it's just been that lady luck hasn't been on our side. This latest result should get the team buzzing and give them a great deal of confidence going into the last couple of months of the season.

A good point away at our local rivals, Bury were second in the standings so I think a point was a good result for us

in the match programme from Saturday I put in an article about how the alliance between Ajax and Lowestoft is getting along.
The Published article:
Supporters alliance between LTFC & Ajax Amsterdam
Firstly let me give you some background into this project. A while ago whilst talking to the Football Club Chairman I mentioned the idea of forming an alliance with a European Side. A brace of months passed by when he mentioned to me was there any update in our initial conversation to which I replied no !!. Gary then suggested that I try to contact a non league side in Holland playing roughly in the same standard of league as ourselves. Now not knowing any Dutch Non League teams and having always had a soft spot for Ajax after being taken to Wembley to see them in the European Cup Final against Panithonikos in the early 1970s and always admiring Cruyff, Neeskins and Rep I thought I would just see what reaction I would get if I suggested a friendship between ourselves and Ajax. I joined an Ajax fans forum explaining who we were and would anybody be interested. To my surprise I got a very good reaction from the Dutch supporters and one in particular a lad named Toby who said he would put me in touch with somebody who is more into the supporters organisation within Ajax. Over the next few days a few Ajax supporters joined our Fans Forum and a few of us joined theirs. Then I had an email from the lad who was more involved with the Ajax supporters groups a gentleman named Ben. After a few emails between us Ben asked if I would like to visit Amsterdam so we could talk things through. As it stands I plan to travel to Amsterdam the weekend of the 10th April and try to take in the Ajax V Groningen game if Ben can secure Tickets. A couple of Trawlerboys have also expressed an interest in travelling over for the match. Ben is very well known amongst the Ajax Support having founded their famous F Side in 1976. The F Side is the very noisey side of the ground where all the main singing takes place. Ben told me how he came up with the name of F Side , He and some friends came to England for the 1976 FA Cup Final and as he had a soft spot for West Ham he went to look at Upton Park. On one of the walls he saw some graffiti saying QPR Rules. Ben thought wow West Ham have 3 sides of the ground that are fanatical supporters Q, P & R where as at the Old Ajax Stadium the “De Meer Stadium” we only have one side that sing the F Side,so the name was born. Only later did he realise that QPR stood for Queens Park Rangers !!!! So as it stands im going over to Amsterdam to visit Ben and he has asked me to take a Lowestoft Flag across so it can be displayed in the famous F Side for the game against Groningen, I keep updating the Ajax fans forum with our results and there seems to be some interest form the Dutch supporters, one even praying we get promoted so he can play as Lowestoft in next seasons FIFA Playstation Game !! I will keep you updated as things progress
