Tonbridge Angels v Lowestoft Town
At 3-20pm this afternoon it had all gone wrong,i had text updates from the chairman and we were 3-0 down against one of our promotion rivals. However on the stroke of half time Captain and Centre Half Greg Crane scored from 40 yards and the Half time chat from the management must have worked as goals from Darren Cockrill and new signing Michael Frew pulled us back to a final score of 3-3.
That is two away games this week against promotion contenders and we have come away with 4 points plus a cup win in-between
Come on you Blues

Match Repert: Tonbridge Angels v Lowestoft Town
Lowestoft Grab A Great Point in 6 Goal Thriller
At 3-0 down after 34 minutes, everyone thought the game had gone from the Trawlerboys, but a great fight-back earned them a battling point. Goals from John Beales (18 mins), Frannie Collin (26 mins), and Jay May (34 mins), gave Tonbridge a comfortable looking lead. But a great-taken free-kick from captain Greg Crane, catching the goal-keeper off his line from 30 yards, started the Blue fight-back.
Half-time Score: Tonbridge Angels 3 Lowestoft Town 1
Lowestoft came more into the game in the second-half, and Tonbridge tried to sit on a two-goal lead, which was the worst possible thing they could have done, all was looking good for them until the 82nd minute, then up popped Dale Cockrill with a great header in off the post to pull it back to 3-2.
Lowestoft continued to attack and were rewarded in the 87th minute when Michael Frew stabbed home a close-range goal to make it 3-3.
Well done to Michael for scoring his first goal for the club, and what a vital one it was.
In the 4 minutes of injury time, Tonbridge pushed forward and had a couple of chances, but I feel had the game gone on for much longer, Lowestoft would have edged it 4-3.
Final Score: Tonbridge Angels 3 Lowestoft Town 3, Attendance 621.
I think if you had asked the management at the start of the week, they would have taken 4 points from 6 after a great 1-0 away win at Cray Wanderers on Tuesday (25/01) and yesterday's point against Tonbridge Angels (29/01).
Also to progress in the Championship Manager Cup was a great achievement with a great 2-1 win over Cheshunt away on Thursday (27/01), with goals from Jamie Godbold, and a later winner from debutant Seamus Kelleher, who signed Ryman forms in early January. Seamus had previously been with Ilkeston Town until they were wound up earlier this season.
Lowestoft also had 3 other players making senior debut appearances: Joe Jefford, Tom Cole and Jack Smith, all playing their part in a great victory.
Lowestoft had such a bare bench that management Craig Fleming and Dave Carolan were on the bench, both making cameo appearances in the final minute of the game.
Lowestoft now face Heybridge Swifts at Crown Meadow on Thursday 3rd February 2011, Kick Off 20:00. Come along and cheer the boys on!!
Before that, Lowestoft have another tough looking game against Billericay in the Ryman Premier League on Tuesday 1st February 2011, again a 7.45 kick off. Please come along and cheer the Trawlerboys on to another 3 points.
Other News From The Meadow -
- Jack Marsden is staying with Ridgeon's Premier League side Wroxham until the end of the season.
- Criag Bussens is staying with Ridgeon's Premier League side Dereham until the end of the season.
- Christy Finch is staying with Ryman League side Needham Market until the end of the season.
- Richard Woodrow has joined Ridgeon's league side Gorleston until the end of the season.

Citaat: who the hell are Lowestoft Town?? and im english!!!!
but good luck whoever you are, unfortunatly as a 'wall fan im partial to supporting Bromley and Dartford in the lower leagues... if you can call it supporting!
Well being a Dartford supporter I would have thought you would have known who Lowestoft Town were as Dartford narrowly beat us 1-0 in the FA Cup this season at the very impressive Dartford Stadium.
Ian im sure you will agree Non League football is the way ahead join our forum you will most welcome
Im not a Dartford supporter, i support Millwall, but seeing as Bromley and Dartford are in the area i class them as my non-league teams.
Its probs why i dont know who your club are seeing as i know very little about the clubs below league 1 or championship level. Good luck anyway!

Lowestoft 1 Billericay 1
A disappointing night , a dull first half saw the teams go in level 0-0 at half time. Dale Cockrill put us 1 - 0 up after 50 mins and just when we thought we had the point in the bag they equalised in injury time.
Still a point on 2nd place Bury who lost 2-5 at home but tonbridge won and are now one point ahead Lowestoft in 3rd place.
Next Up Heybridge Swifts in the Championship Manager Cup on Thursday

Haha, I'm used to watching Ajax games at so late time. When I was a pupil in the 1990s, I watched some Ajax games started late at night... Most of them were CL games. But I felt also very excited those days.
