Luckily for us, Muslimovic will not play on Wednesday
So we will have in front the two short and fast daemons,Dimitris-the rox-Salpingidis & Adelino André Vieira Freitas (commonly known as Adelino-Porky-Vieirinha) trying to cause problems on counter attack to your belgian tall center backs
Vierihna passes to Salpringidis,Salpingidis to Ivic and goaaaaaaaaaaal !!!

Look at home we are surely more attacking-minded because of the fans firstly...Usually the first 10 minutes is a living hell for our opponents. Our central defenders today were awfull both of them, but in general Cirillo is a hard-boiled player with aggressive characteristics and few technical..Malezas on the other hand,as you might be suprised is a very promising defender but to tell you the truth he plays his best only with Pablo Contreras....Contreras is a long story...Not in a bad way...The last two years we have the best defence in Greece by far and last year the second best in Europe according the statistics...Only 15 goals in 30 matches...Contreras is like a fly in the milk here in Greece and has the ability to transmitt harmony and concentration in the team, and especially in the defensive line....Last year in some occasions we had to play 3-4 matches so a team to make as a chance!!!Not kidding at all!! So the today's perfomance by our defense is not the rule..Kresic,tha back up goalkeeper is average in my opinion ande yes he has some problems in the air..Chalkias is really good and experienced but in his bad day-like today-he can hung our team....So to conclude, today's PAOK's perfomance doesn't represent the real one....We were lucky with the draw but believe me in PAOK's good day you will see a very very strong team with unbeatable mentallly characteristics and not so technically.....
Look the chances as you said are 50-50 but i am trully curius to see how Ajax is going to play his game in the field.I am expecting not a very good game, but a game of patience and strengh...

And what does that sentence say?
It's a phrase that Paok fans sing. ''???? ??????? ?? ?????'' means that the eagles of Paok can hunt and kill everything including this nice looking lady that represents Holland and Ajax
Basically it's something stupid. Don't worry because you will win 3-0 and you will also win in Greece. Ajax is a great team with great history. Its like a shark against a small fish
This phrase "???? ??????? ? ?????" means "where Eagles dare" . That nonsense of hunt and kill everything is a gebels propaganda of the sardinen olympiakos fans. As of the score his prognosis was exact hahaha. He thought of his team when he wrote its a shark against a small fish (sardine or gavros). Anyway a will not more care about this stupid fans of the small team olympiakos.
As of the question of D_skilled "how we will play at home. ". Well the team is not 100% ready but i believe in 1 week we will improve a lot. Chalkias and Malezas were not in a good shape today. Chalkias has broke his finger so he misses next match, which i think is good because Kresits is better goalkeeper. Instead of Malezas its more likely Pablo Contreras will play . I think we will play more offensive because in Toumba stadium the opposite defence makes mistakes more easy. But not forget also that 0-0 gives PAOK the qualification to next round

''where Eagles dare''. Where eagles dare to do what? I told about the meaning of the sentence.
Also if you watched the game(i doubt that) you would see that Paok was lucky. Ajax lost 10 good chances to scor goal.

[color=#0000FF">Thank you Amsterdam for your great hospitality! You have a beautiful city and a perfect stadium.[/color">
Your team is extremely fast, it’s like we don’t run at all! At the beginning I thought it’s going to be an easy night for you!
Luckily for us second half was worst for you and better for us. Maybe you got tired?
How do you think you will play in Toumpa Stadium? The same or more defensively?
PAOK usually plays entirely different in Toumpa, meaning that the players play with very passion and run more due to the madness of the fans, and for the same reason opponents do some mistakes especially at the beginning of the match.
You should expect more than 25000 fans with many smoke agents and fireworks. That as you could expect is bad for us because of the UEFA’s fine, but unfortunately we have many-many brainless fans that care just about troubles.
Bellow you can see what I mean.

A game with two different faces. First half Ajax dominated the court and instead of scoring one of the many 100% chances, he scored a lucky goal caused from a brainless act of Cirillo. For sure Ajax had the chance to finish the first half with 2-0 or 3-0 but that was all.
In the second half we saw a totally diferent PAOK inside the court. Fear and uncertainty have vanished from the players and they did at 70% what the team knows best. They choked the central players of Ajax with pressing and the back wingers started to perform better. That gave PAOK the chance to make some counter attacks and be able to score a nice goal.
The Center backs of both teams today were for my opinion a total joke. Firstly on PAOK's behalf they made the most mistakes in a match in the last 2 years. Then on Ajax's behalf it's ridicullous to suffer a goal from a player that is way older than your players absolutely slower and 3 minutes before the goal he asked for substitution because he was tired like a dead horse.
Anyway. 90 minutes left in order to see who advances to the Play Offs of Champions League. Our strong points are that we play at our stadium and to be honest I hope the atmosphere will give a boost in our team and will startle yours

We will win in Greece. In the game we (at leat, I did) saw a weak point of your team. To say this kindly: Your keepers sucks at high balls.
You saw the weak point and you can take advantage of that. But you have a weak spot too and you can't do anything about it any time sooner. Your players after the 50th minute were becoming very tired. And our team after the 50th minute showed more stamina.
In anyway now everything is open and all will be decided in the next 90 minutes.

More stamina? Like Ivic? It had nothing to do with stamina, but AJAX forget to keep it simple like in the first half. They looked for the difficult solution, overly difficult passes, dumb decisions like from our fresh substitutes De Zeeuw and Eriksen who made one stupid decision after another.

I am not talking about Ivic in stamina. He had only 3 trainings all these days because of his injury. I talk for all the other players.
If you read my first post you will see that I mention the fact that although Ivic was totally tired scored with a last sprint and then he was substituted.
All the other players though showed good stamina. At least that's what I saw in the game.

I did understand your post, dimlag. I just don't agree with it. It wasn't because of the stamina AJAX failed in the second half.
I am telling this because I know that PAOK is a team that starts to get better after the 60th minute and presses even more.
Anyway. Hope we will see a good game next Wednesday and of course if any one from your forum is coming in Toumba feel free to let us know so that we can drink some beers before the game.
I would agree with Dimlag. You may be right about the keepers however such mistakes are not usual to happen! Actually (and statistically) they are very rare. Well about the next game, as I've already talled Ajax is very dangerous. They can make goal any time. On the other hand when pressed they make lots of mistakes. Even Ivic scored!!! This Ajax is quite different from the glorious team of the past and obviously we can't be scared. Also the next game is in our territory where I believe you will have great difficulties. Moreover there are players that may be able to play now. And that makes our defence stronger. Well, all we have to do is to wait a week's time.

ivic had no stamina because he was injured and he didn't play any friendly.I also believe that Ajax main problem wasn't stamina. The main problem i believe you will have at toumpa and you can not fix it soon is that your players are young. Most players you have is 23 and lower, i believe they will panic more than an 27-30 years old player. We have to consider this problem and score a goal when your players are paniced.

How do you play at home? I expect more attacking play than today's game.
Btw, your defence is static and pretty bad. Poor central defenders, shit and slow. Can cost you next week a round further. And the keeper is uncertain at high balls.
PAOK yesterday played a terrible first half, and a bad second half. All of our lines, and
specially our goalkeepers(both), defensive-midfielders and the stoppers underperformed
for their standards. I think in general PAOK can have a much better appearence; I am
not so sure whether a week is enough for showing a huge improvement.
However, assuming that yesterday (2nd half) we reached a 40% of our capabilities, the
time is sufficient to make it a 60% (i.e. a) by reducing the number of individual mistakes,
b) by utilizing Contreras and Muslimivic, c) by improving the physical condition of
Ivic, d) by embedding more actively Vierinha in the play).
In Tumba, given that the players are physically and psychologically ok, it will be a very tough match for Ajax. However, the blessing and the curse of PAOK, are the fans...
Which means that the fans can -typical scenario- push the team to the extend that
Ajax players will not even touch the ball more than a couple of times, BUT it also means
that the fans can -secondary but also typical scenario- to bring anxiety and stress on
our own players. In my opinion, the fans in the upcoming match will work in favor of
Ajax because as we say "PAOK you are..." and you can fuck it up at any time without
any reason.
P.S.
Tickets are officially sold out (at 9:00 in the morning there were still 30 tickets at the VIP section -VIP section in Tumba is like VAK410 in Amsterdam Arena-, but it took less than an hour and they also disappeared).

My Dear DUTCH friends ...YES you have Better players ....YES you could have scored more goals ... BUT THIS IS FOOTBALL ....thats the beauty ...About the GAME ...Ajax lost the Center in the second half ... lots of players did not make a full week of training workouts , they were out of pace and out of strength and power ...
Yes in Toumpa you could score ....BUT you are forgetting something that football is not always of TALENT and TECHNIQUE and TACTICS .....sometimes its about HEART and WILL and of COURSE PSYCHOLOGY .... Our defenders and our Team in overall will have NOTHING in common with the team you saw today ...they will have WINGS at their feed ...psychology at their side ...and of course in TOUMPA every defender and of course the whole team has to BE FOCUSED 90' cause mistakes are very likely to happen .....
so the key for the match next week will be CLEAR MIND and nothing more ...will your YOUNG players like the ones we saw today KEEP A CLEAR MIND in an Stadium in which they have no IDEA what to expect ? in a stadium that produces "SOUND VIOLENCE " ? thats a word you maybe did not heart before ....your players either ..its worse than the VUVUNZELES in south africa ... 4000 PAOK fans made Amsterdam Arena look like they are playing at Home ....imagine 35.000 ....
So i will tell you how PAOK will paly .... we will PRESS you in the first 10 minutes Making you Loose FOCUS , using our WILD CROWED to make your players feel from the first second they will not have a change today ....if LUCKY we will score ...believe me ...if NOT we will have patience ...letting AJAX believe he makes HIS play in the field ...letting him attack and attack , like the waves of the persian empire against the spartans just joking
Then the moment you are going to think you are in control hunting the goal ...we will make a COUNTER ATTACK like the one yesterday .... ;) You will be behind 1 goal without notice .... 1-0 ....in the stadium ranks there will be madness ...chaos ....something spectacular , your players will need 5-10 minutes to get back on track ...being nervous that they are behind facing elimination ... PAOK will wait again .....two scenario ....you will NOT score and we will win 1-0 ....or we will score Another goal the same way ..if you go ALL OFFENSIVE .....if you Go NOT ALL OFFENSIVE .and have patience ....then it might be possible for you to score ...at the END ....ONLY THERE ....cause we will get nervous to keep the 1-0 for us ....
But besides that the most likely score is 0-0 .....or 1-0 .....its my opinion after i studied carefully the way ajax played , the psychology of the players , the fact that after PAOK scored you were SHOCKED ...played 0 ...NOTHING ....loosing EVEN MORE FOCUS...that means that if PAOK scores in TOUMPA its game over for you ....they will cry ....its simple 1+1 = 2 ..... Also DONT FORGET THAT IN TOUMPA your players specially the young ones will get kicked a little bit more you know what i mean ...
I also would like to know how you saw our fans today in your stadium ....what is your opinion ? how was the atmosphere ? we could hear them in TV

good result for PAOK yesterday but i think Ajax is still the favourite.
Ajax showed that they could score more goals and lets not forget that the away goal is more important. PAOK has to make sure that Ajax does not score any goal and that will be difficult and will demand 100% concentration for 90-120 minutes.
Quite tricky with the players Ajax has.
Lets hope for a very defensive game and for more luck!!!!
Anyhow i hope they were no nasty incidents yesterday, and i hope that there will be Dutch friends joining in Salonika.
Toumpa is not so scary as people want to make it but it is a good experience. I love the clapping in the beginning of the game, it is quite a feeling.
Hope the best team goes into the next round (ops sorry i mean the team who wants it most!).. Come on PAOK!!!!!!
