Hello everybody. my dutch isn't fluent, so I will post in English.
I would like you to select the best European club team in history. later I will pick mine.

I have chosen: Ajax 1971-1973.
Why? Because it was the best team ever and they played technical and positive football with all Dutch players (Except Vasco and Blankenburg). They put the money-clubs like Real Madrid and the Catenaccio-club Inter back in their places. Too bad the world of football has now become totally commercial. No more Dutch teams with 9 or 10 Dutch players, English teams with 9 or 10 English players and so on. Also the players have become more like popstars. It's more product then love for a club nowadays.

Voledig met je eens Toby, ik heb ook voor dat elftal gekozen, ook omdat het de hele voetbalwereld geinspireert heeft. Mooie tijden, Real op bezoek in A'dam bijvoorbeeld

I've chosen for the Ajax 1971-1973 team too.
They inspired the whole world with their briljant football. They played football the way Dutch people like to see football, technical, fast and positional good football. The player fought for every point and the fought for their club too. Players use AJAX to get up to a big club in Europe and just getting rich these day's.
None opponent was dangerous for AJAX.
In 1971-1973, AJAX was able to win all games.

For me too. Just simple. That was the only team i've know of Ajax which had succes. Unfortunately, i can't remember it beacause i was 3 years old. But when i saw the team, you can speak about the best Dutch players. They where in Holland the best of their position. That team filled with some players from other country, and see. There was a perfecte balanced team. That's why I choose that team.

I have chosen Feyenoord. Because they are te first Dutch EC I winners ever. Besides they are even te last Dutch team which has won the last European prize for Holland.
Further I admire Real Madrid and Internazionale. They are really cracks!!

Ik denk dat weinig 010'ers blij zijn de naam van Johan te horen. De overstap naar onze aartsrivaal was de grootste fout van Cruijff. Hij liet wel even zien dat 1 Ajacied al genoeg is om een kleinere club een titel te bezorgen.
Gerard, last van het second city syndrome?
Je moet toch toegeven dat Cruijff een echte Ajacied is, als je gaat zeggen dat hij een Feyenoorder is verlies je je geloofwaardigheid.

It's not quite valid to ask which team is the best on a biased forum. Of course the answer will be Ajax =) And yes, I voted the Ajax 70's team!

AJAX; it had vision. It had utter beauty and cracked the awful catenaccio-football of Inter and AC Milan. All dutch players (except Vasovic and his replacement Blankenburg), practically most of them out of Amsterdam. Cruijff has been raised in the AJAX-stadion for the most time of his youth.
The rest of the clubs are toys for very rich lusting for power people. Real Madrid (Franco, huge debts) , Ac Milan (Van Basten and Rijkaard? Where do they come from?), Bayern (German football attractive? ), Barcelona (Rijkaard, Cruijff....yeah.), Chelsea? (Come on!), Manchester (Lucky), Liverpool.....they have nothing against AJAX.
