Thanks Thomas. In fact, i know a few words in Dutch. And i will try to learn the Dutch language cuz maybe in the future i will go to Netherlands.
But in the important topics i will translate by a website to English.

I also would like to introduce myself as a new member. As an American I have always been hungry for my supply of info about Ajax. I can speak some Dutch, but can't read much.
I have been to the Netherlands a few times to attend coaching courses...I always find time to spend in Amsterdam watching Ajax train & observing their matches.
I do hope that the latest report will get the club moving in the right direction once again. Right now the optimist in me is placing my faith in Cruijff & VB.

Thanks evryone for the warm welcome. I use boards like this to stay up to date with my Ajax news. I'm hoping more English-language members join in, at least until I get better at reading Dutch. That is a goal of mine...mostly so I can read Voetbal International & some Dutch books that have yet to be translated.

JM, If you have any problems language-wise (i.e. translating stuff or anything like that) I'm sure there'll be somebody willing and able to lend a hand. I mean, until your Dutch reading skills are up to scratch.

hello friends,
I am a football fan from Israel of the Bnei Yehuda club.
we are taking for the second time in our history part in the UEFA League (last year in the UEFA cup was the first time)
3 years we were sent home quite fast by Lokomotiv Sofia,
but this year the story is different, we are the only club remaining from the first quali round, and we haven't had enough!
we won all six games until now, scoring 11 goals and not conceding even one!!!!
in the next round we are meeting PSV eindhoven.
the first leg will be in Israel, and the second leg in Eindhoven.
We want to invite you to cheer with us, all the fans that are not going to bratislava that is, and support us!!!
Our color is like your national color Orange our symbol is a Lion, so grab your national Trikos, scarfs and flags and come to eindhoven on the 27th of August!!!!
we also wish you a glorius win on Bratislava, it should be an easy game for you guys!!!

When I first saw your name I considered two possibilities, either a person that would really hate PSV, or a real Isreali supporter.
Jews should always win in Eindhoven, that's one thing for sure  . The best of luck against our 'friends' from Eindhoven. What about your defence, you didn't conceed any goals in your own net during this European year. Is your defence that stable to keep PSV from scoring?

Mainly because i believe they are a progressive forward thinking club.Obviuosly the "total football" concept is 1 i love and just watching the training and how the team play i think when the team is on top form their is hardly anyone who can match it both for results and the effect it has on the eye

Nice to see our effort appreciated overseas. We come from al long way, but we all feel Jol is the right person to pave the way for us back to the top.
Are you old enough to have seen us conquer Europe in the mid-nineties or maybe even witnessed our golden years in the early seventies?

I'm old enough to have seen the glories of the mid nineties and have been a admirer ever since.
1 question i do have is how has the fact Jol has gone to 4-4-2 been recieved by pundits and fans alike?
